I could whine, or I could be cliche and say that I don't need a significant other in my life. Frankly, I just don't care. Instead I'm going to list some reasons on why I'm not looking for someone, and why it would be impossible for me to be in a relationship. In no particular order...
- I need a guy who's as into theater as I am.
- Theres not that many straight guys who are into theater.
- As cliche as it sounds, I am focusing on my education. Seriously.
- What guy would be willing to put up with my Broadway addiction?
- I'm a dork.
- Date nights would consist of watching Modern Family & American Idol. Romantic right?
- I dislike romance, and sappy love stories. Even the word "cuddling" makes me uncomfortable.
- They have to accept my adoration towards Anderson Cooper & all my Broadway crushes.
- He needs to be able to understand the language I speak. No no english, I mean the language of pop culture, theater and technology.
- It'd be nice if he looked like Jon Groff, or a younger Gavin....
Whoa, what a list.
You see what I just did there? I made distinct parameters in which I want my future boyfriend to abide by. I haven't even met someone and I've already set up restrictions. So how about we stop, and just forget about all our required standards (well, except good hygiene, and morals!).
I firmly believe that anything will happen when its supposed to happen.
So how about we just take a deep breath, and let everything happen by itself?
Our future is now..
Our future is now..
